These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Home List ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Home List is a shared household app for coordinating shopping and to-do lists, chores, and optional location-based reminders when you approach a store that has unchecked items. Shared lists and chores — including recurring chores and assigning chores to specific members — a shared household calendar, real-time sync among household members, receipt scanning (available in the iPhone and Android apps), household activity history, Live Alerts, and up to two stores with location reminders (including per-store cooldown tuning) are available to all registered users at no cost. Unlimited stores and store-specific lists, restock predictions learned from your household's purchase history, and Spending Insights — monthly spending totals, trends, and CSV export — require an active "Home List Premium" subscription, purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. A household is a shared space; anyone who joins your household using its invite code can see and edit that household's lists, chores, and stores. Only share your invite code with people you trust.
Home List Premium is offered as a monthly subscription ($2.99/month) or an annual subscription ($24.99/year). New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected. A single subscription makes the entire household premium — every member gets full access while at least one member's subscription is active.
The store-reminder feature is optional and depends on your device's location permissions and operating-system geofencing, which we do not control. We do not guarantee that a reminder will fire for every store arrival — timing and reliability depend on your device, its settings, and network/GPS conditions. Do not rely on the App as your only reminder for anything important.

The lists, chores, stores, and other content you create remain yours. We do not claim ownership of it. You grant us only the limited right to store it and share it with your household as part of providing the Service.
You may delete your account at any time: tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the App, then tap “Delete account”. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Content you contributed to a shared household remains available to the other members but is no longer associated with your name. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, including the reliability or timeliness of location reminders.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any missed reminder or purchase.
We may modify or discontinue features of the App, and may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when Terms change. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
