Home List vs Bring!
Bring! is a good list app, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. The difference is what happens once somebody is standing in the shop.
What Bring! does well
Real-time shared lists, sorted automatically, with recipes you can save, loyalty cards kept in the app, and offers from nearby stores. Bring! Premium is $1.99 a month or $8.99 a year on the App Store. Home List has no recipes and no loyalty cards — if those are what you shop by, Bring! is a fine choice.
“Not listed” in the table means we did not find it on Bring!’s own App Store listing, checked 26 September 2026 — not that it can never exist. If that changes, tell us at support@homelist.app and this page gets fixed.
The moment a list usually misses
Home List is built around the minute you arrive. Pin the shops you use; turn up with items unchecked and your phone tells you — on a locked screen, with the app closed, posted by native code rather than a web view that has to be awake. The household can be told too, so whoever is at home can add the thing they forgot while you are still in the aisle.
Store-arrival reminders are not on Bring!’s App Store listing.
After the till
Photograph the receipt on the way out and Home List reads it: line items matched to the list, prices recorded, the shop noted. Over a few weeks that becomes a running record of what the household actually spends, trip by trip. Ticking an item off a list is otherwise the only record that the trip happened.
And the rest of the house
Chores that rotate on a schedule and can be claimed with a tap. A shared calendar that subscribes into Google, Apple or Outlook. Multiple lists, per shop or general.
No ads on any tier, ever. Premium ($2.99 a month, $24.99 a year) adds arrival reminders at every shop rather than one, spending analytics — monthly trends, shop-by-shop breakdowns and export — and restock predictions, and unlocks for the whole household at once. Everything else on this page is free.

Does Bring! remind you when you arrive at the shop?
Store-arrival reminders are not on Bring!’s App Store listing (checked 26 September 2026). Home List’s arrival alert is free at one shop and at every shop with Premium, and it works with the app closed.
Does Home List have recipes like Bring!?
No. Home List is about the trip — the list, the arrival alert, the receipt and what it cost — plus chores and a calendar. If recipes are central to how you shop, Bring! does that and Home List does not.
What do I have to pay for in Home List?
Lists, the arrival alert at one shop, household alerts, chores, the calendar and receipt scanning are free, with no ads. Premium ($2.99/month, $24.99/year) adds reminders at every shop, spending analytics and restock predictions for the whole household.
